Hi, my name is Amanda. Most of the time I'm a one-woman army around here, but once in awhile I'll hire some of my most trusted colleagues to help me out in specialized areas.
I'm an undergraduate Computer Science major at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, and I have an unstoppable passion for web development.
Having been designing and coding web sites by hand since the age of twelve (that would be eleven years), my skill set pertaining to web development has grown to include HTML, XHTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), PHP, Java, JavaScript, ASP, C#/ASP .NET, VB, MySQL, and database normalization. Most of the skills listed here are self-taught, though a good portion of them have been acquired by means of courses at Georgia Tech as well as experience in the field thanks to my co-op job - I am a Programmer Analyst co-op at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations.
My soft skills include the ability to explain ideas and suggestions effectively, great written and oral communication skills, an insatiable hunger for organization, and an acute sense of trends and fads in the web design industry.
